I moved to San Jose in 1998 on my way to Los Angeles. I lived in this busy city for ten months which was the smartest thing I did in my life. Being in Silicon Valley right when the internet took off catapulted my “day job” career. Here I lived with my good friend DJ Tara and we had the best time! I had fun playing weekly gigs at the Velvet shop and other bars. I also had access to great record stores.
